KATOTMOAT KI NWAKANCIK
Acts of the Apostles

CE'PTU IV. Chapter 4
Me'kwe'cI e'ie'knonawat ni nIshInape'n me'matmoncIn ipi Kapte'n shi kcI-nume'okumkok ipi Se'cwsiuk, oki pie'naskakwan. 1 And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
4:2 Kikisate'ntumwuk e'ki knomowanIt ni nIshInape'n, ipi e'kie'kwe'nIt, i e'wionIshkanIt, ni ne'poncIn shi CisusIn. 2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
4:3 OkimshunawancI, ipi okikpakwawan nash wiapnInuk osam e'nmupkonianuk. 3 And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.
4:4 NIshcI mce'sh okite'pwe'takwan, kanotakwat nianuk mtatswak nInwuk kitshik kate'pwe'takwat. 4 Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.
4:5 KanomkukcI wiapuk kiw nakanse'cuk, ipi otukwe'simowan, ipi we'npie'makwcIn. 5 And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,
4:6 Ipi E'ne's ke'cmatmot, ipi Ke'Ipe's ipi Can, ipi E'nukse'ntu, ipi e'tshowat e'nwe'mawacIn ni ke'cmatmonIt kimaoce'tik shi Cinose'ne'muk. 6 And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.
4:7 IwcI na‘wiukwan kacipitupawat okinatowawan. We'kwnicI kshke'osuwun tanakI we'ni otInoswunuk otI kaocItotme'k. 7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
4:8 IwcI Pitu e'moshkIne'shkakot, PanakwsIncIn CipamIn, otI okinan, kinwa nakane'nmukwie'k nIshInape'k, ipi e'kwe'simukwie'k ki isne'iun 8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
4:9 KishpIn nkom e'kishkiwuk natakoik, we'cmnototwut, otI pwanu‘pmose't otI nInI, kaocI ne'se't? 9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
4:10 Kuke'ntanawa kinwa caye'k, ipi caye'k nIshInape'k shi isne'iuk, shiw tInoswunuk Cisus Knayst Ne'se'ni nInI kaskakowe'k Kshe'mIne'to kapsukwitnat e'kinponIt, winsI otI nInI we'cnipwIt e'ne'se't e'nasmupie'k. 10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
4:11 OtIsI ie'i sIn, kawe'pne'me'k we'ske'ie'k, iw sI ie'i ne'tmIsuk shi e'wikwe'ak. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
4:12 Coke' pe'kanuk ke'skonwe'wun otItosin cowi pe'kanuk noswun namiukwun kishkok minasik ninwuk ke'ocI ke'skonkoikon. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
4:13 IwcI kawaptumwawat i onikansiunawa ni PituIn ipi CanIn, e'ke'nmawat ke'ko e'pwake'ntumnIt okimamkate'nmawan ipi okinaktowe'nmawan e'kipmowice'wanIt ni CisusIn. 13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
4:14 Ipi e'wapmawat, ni nInwun, kane'se'mIt e'wickapwItakwat coke'ko okinasiwan. 14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
4:15 PicI kamace'nashkawawat shi e'tshI kikitowat okitshItanawa winwa. 15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
4:16 OtI kItwuk,TInicI ke'totwukon kotI nInwuk we'we'ne'se' mataonokie'wun kitotmok ke'iapI caye'k waptanawa e'tacuk shi Cinose'ne'muk, coce' ktanIiakwne'tsimIn. 16 Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
4:17 E'pwamshI cI kuke'ntumwat nIshInape'k kuikwamamIn, e'wipwa kinonawat wIiI nInwun shi i noswunuk. 17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
4:18 IwcI e'kintomawat ipi okinawan ke'ko e'wipwakItnIt, ipi e'wipwakukinomake'nIt shiw tInoswunuk CisusIn. 18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
4:19 IwcI Pitu ipi Can, okinkwe'twawan otI okinawan, Nakitowe'ntmok kinwa wusIme'nI kau‘wunIt e'wiwaptuk Kshe'mIne'to e'wipsItoukon kinwa wusimI icI Kshe'mIne'to. 19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
4:20 CosI ntakshkItosimIn e'wipwatshItmak notI ke'ko kawaptmak ipi kanotmak. 20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
4:21 IwcI wusimI kaikwamawat okipkItnawan e'pwamkumwat ke'ko e'wiwcI mcI totwawat osam e'kwsawat ni nIshInape'n, caye'k nInwuk okiwinwanawan Kshe'mIne'to i katotmInIt. 21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.
4:22 WusimI nie'waptuk kitsoponkIsI onInI kamataone'se'It. 22 For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed.
4:23 IwcI kapkItnItwa kishie'k e'tnukie'wat ipi kiactanawa caye'k, kakowat, ni ke'cmatmoncIn, ipi ke'ctaose'cuk. 23 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.
4:24 IwcI i kanotmowat, mamawI okiwawinawan Kshe'mIne'ton, otI kItwuk Te'pe'nke'n Kin Kshe'mIne'to, KawshIton kishuk, ipi kI, ipi kcIkum, ipi caye'k pic iukwan e'te'k. 24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
4:25 Kin kpumitakam Te'pIt otonik kikIto, TacIki me'ikIscIk, kaocInshkatsowat, ipi ki nIshInape'k kaocI shIte'awat ke'ko me'ante'nuk? 25 Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?
4:26 We'kimaocIk shotI kik, kipsukwik ipi nakanse'cuk kimaoce'tik e'nshke'nmawat Te'pe'nke'ncIn, ipi e'nshke'nmawat, Win KnaystIn. 26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
4:27 We'we'ne' te'pwe'wIn kinshke'nmawan ni panakwsIncIn, knicansun CisusIn kin kawe'napmIt, E'nut ipi Pantus Payne't ipi ki Me'ikIscIk, ipi ki nIshInape'mIn isne'iun kaocI maotoshnowat. 27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
4:28 E'witotwe'k we'kwe'ntuk knIciwan ipi ktIshte'e'wnowan, kane'nme'k e'pwamshI i totwe'k. 28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
4:29 Ipi nkom Te'pe'nke'n waptumo‘u kote' ome'iushtakwsonowa, ipi mish kupumitakaimuk, e'wiwishkIte'awat e'witshItmowat i kukikitowIn. 29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
4:30 E'wishipnIce'niIn, e'wine'se'we'n, ipi me'matawiak, ipi mamkate'ntumwunIn e'wiwcI wshItok shiw, tInoswunuk panakwsIt knicanIs Cisus. 30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
4:31 IwcI kakishnumawat shi cace'iIwat, kiunukshke'nI; katshI maoce'tiwat, ipi caye'k, okimoshkIne'shkakwan, panakwsIncIn cipam kiwishkItIe'kcI e'kitshItmowat okikitowun Kshe'mIne'to. 31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
4:32 IwcI kimaoce'ticuk cate'pwe'twacuk kin kot nInI ote'‘iwa ipi kinkotwin cipamwan, coke' wIiI ke'ko okishItsin i te'pe'ntuk, win e'iIt, okimsotpe'ntanawa cake'ko. 32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
4:33 KcI wishkIswun cIki, nwakancIk, kikukInomake'k i Te'pe'nke't Cisus kiwonIshke' e'npopIt; icI kcI shuwe'ncuke'wun caye'k okiInawa. 33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
4:34 Coke' wIiI e'tshowat kintowe'nkuke'si e'tshowat katpe'ntukuk otukimwa tanake' e'tawacIn kitawe'k, ipi, kipie'tonawa kapite'ntakwtunuk, ni katawe'wacIn. 34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
4:35 IwcI mcIiakwan okitonawan e'nasmup nIt ni nwakancIk osItiwak, icI e'kimatu‘mwat e'tshowat nInwuk, e'shntawe'ntumwat. 35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
4:36 Ipi Cosis ki nwakancIk kashuwawinItke' Pe'ne'pe's, e'iauke'notmuk, We'kwIsmukot mnowaukoswun, Nipayt nInI ipi e'tnukie't Saypusuk.. 36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,
4:37 OkiIn, kI kitawe'cI, ipi okipie'ton i shonia, icI e'kipie'pkItnumwat ni nwakaucIk e'tshIste'pnIt. 37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
