Alma Stephens Wood widow of John H. Wood

Luke came to America in 1866.  He went back to England and married Mary
Moore, a governess by family tradition.  They lived in Chicago, IL, until
1879 when they moved to Greenwood Co, KS.  He bought a farm and built stone
fences.

After Mary died of heart failure, Luke married Alma Wood and they moved to
Eureka, KS, in 1917.
