My great grandparents Harlan R Parker and his wife Carrie Maud (Stacy)
Parker plus her parents Corkin Brown Stacy and Sarah (Hughes) Stacy and
Carrie's grandparents Hamilton Hughes and Mary A (Burch) settled and
farmed near Byers, Kansas. The Stacy and Hughes families included
brothers and sisters. Many are buried in the Byers Cemetery. Many of
Parker's who are still living in Pratt are descendants of Harlan and
Carrie Maud Parker. Harlan and Carrie Maud Parker are buried in Garden
City, Kansas
