1. Arnold[1] Vohs. (Unknown Parents) He was born 12 October 1847 in Dusseldorf, Prussia (Germany). He died 13 December 1917 and is buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Nevada, Vernon County, Missouri. He married Elizabeth Spohrer about 1873. She was born in Pennsylvania in 1856 and her parents were born in Prussia (Germany). She died about 1946 and is buried in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Nevada, Missouri. His occupation was listed as a blacksmith in Seneca, Nemaha County, Kansas, in the 1875 and 1880 census records. During the 1910 census the family lived in Vernon County, Missouri.[532]
2. Gertrude[2] Elizabeth Vohs. (Arnold[1] Vohs) She was born 23 May 1873 at Seneca, Nemaha County, Kansas. She died 27 December 1960 at Seneca, Kansas, and is buried in the Protestant Cemetery in Seneca, Kansas. She married first in March 1889 to William James Bendon. He was born January 1867 at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. He died 28 November 1927 at Marysville, Marshall County, Kansas. He is buried in the St. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Her second husband was John C. Hartner.[537]
7. Leo[3] Bendon. (Gertrude[2] Elizabeth Vohs, Arnold[1] Vohs) He was born 6 April 1892 at Seneca, Nemeha County, Kansas. He died 26 August 1962 at the Veterans Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, and is buried in the Jennings Cemetery. He married Esther Lillian Hanson on 20 August 1921. She was the daughter of Hans Arnt Hanson (born 26 February 1854 at Bryne, Stavanger, Norway; died 9 February 1926 at Oberlin, Decatur County, Kansas; buried Kanona Cemetery; married 24 October 1891) and Mary Frances Cilek (born 3 November 1871 at Humboldt, Richardson County, Nebraska; died 13 August 1923 at Oberlin, Decatur County, Kansas; buried Kanona Cemetery). She was born 2 April 1899 at Kanona, Decatur County, Kansas. She died 5 May 1971 at Oberlin, Decatur County, Kansas, and is buried in the Jennings Cemetery.[548]
