1. Caspar[1] Voos Caspar Voos was a citizen and miller of Lorch. His occupation as a miller was recorded with the baptism of his children Joannem Voos in 1755 and Mariam Barabaram Voos in 1762, and the marriage of his son Georg Joseph Voos in 1796. He was married to Anna Maria Schamari of Montes by 1753 when the birth of their first child occurred. His wife's parents were listed as deceased in the 1796 marriage record for their son Georg Joseph Voos. The 1796 marriage record is the only known reference to Anna Maria's maiden name of Schamari. On 26 September 1801, Caspar Voos, a citizen and miller of Lorch, died at age 83.[1] Based upon an age of 83 at death, Caspar Voos was born about 1718.
In addition to the known children of Caspar Voos and Anna Maria Schamari, several additional records were found in the Lorch church records that are suspected of being related to this family.
