1. Herman[1] Vohs. (Unknown Parents) He was born in September 1864 in Germany. He was married to Alvina [-?-] about 1889. Alvina was born about 1871 in Missouri. In 1900 they lived at 306 Second St., Argentine, Wyandotte County, Kansas. In 1910 they lived in Kansas City, Kansas. During the 1920 census the head of the household was Luis Paul Vohs. Since only Louis Paul Vohs, his mother Alvina and his brothers Henry and James are the only members of the family listed as living together at 1626 S. 21st Street, Kansas City, Wyandotte Co., Kansas, it is assumed that Herman Vohs died between 1910 and 1920 and that Ella Vohs was married. All records for this family are from census records.[550]
