Helena[5] (Lena) Vohs (Anthony Eugene[4] Vohs, Caspar[3] Vohs, Georg Joseph[2] Voos, Caspar[1] Voos) She was born 24 April 1859 in Missouri, died 27 April 1934 at Wea, Kansas, and was buried in Louisburg, Kansas, at St. Mary's Cemetery row 2, plot A 13. She was married 14 March 1878 at Wea, Kansas, to Anton Bauer.[103]
Anton Bauer was born 29 November 1853 at Oberselters in the Dukedom of Nassau. Anton Bauer was the son of William Anton (born 4 May 1814) and Elizabeth Bondkirsch. Anton Bauer came to the United States in April 1869 on the ship Hermen. He immigrated to the United States with his three sisters - Katarina who married John Vohs (#22) and moved to Kingfisher, Oklahoma, where she died; Franziska Clara who married Jacob Swartz of Wea, Kansas; and Josephina who married Conrad Schell and moved to Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Anton Bauer was sponsored by the Seck family. He became a U.S. citizen in January 1919. He died 11 May 1952 and is buried in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Louisburg, Kansas.[104]
