JOSEPH HERMAN VOHS

26. Joseph Herman[5] Vohs (Anthony Eugene[4] Vohs, Caspar[3] Vohs, Georg Joseph[2] Voos, Caspar[1] Voos) He was born on 6 January 1869 in Wea Township, Kansas. He died on 20 June 1938 and is buried in the Wea Cemetery in row 7, lot 24. His occupation in 1895, 1905 and 1915 was farming. He married Mary Frances Pabst on 11 April 1893. Her parents were William Pabst and Dorothy Schwartz. She was born on 6 October 1872 in Kansas. She died on 23 July 1928 and is buried in the Wea Cemetery with her husband.[128]

• + 83. i Dorothy (Dora) Marie[6] Vohs born on 31 March 1894, Wea, Kansas, married on 25 June 1921 to Carl Albert Kupersmith, died 10 May 1986, Kansas City, Missouri.[129]

• 84. ii Bertha Elizabeth Vohs born 1 June 1895, Wea, Kansas, married Alfonson Larkin Jenkins (b.1897 - d.1959), marriage notice published 6 May 1925, died 29 April 1926, buried in row 6, lot 19 of the Wea Cemetery.[130] Alfonson Jenkins was born 25 October 1897 and baptized 3 August 1897. His parents were William Jenkins and Mary Larkin of Stillwell, Kansas. His godparents were Peter Larkin and Sarah Sheehan.[131]

• 85. iii Isidore (Isadore, Isidora) Joseph Vohs born 1 March 1897, Wea, Kansas, married 23 June 1926 to Laura C. Entringer (born September 1906, Iowa), died 20 August 1968, buried in Wea Cemetery row 2, lot 178.

• 86. iv Anna (Annie, Anastatia) Maria Elizabeth Vohs was born 28 July 1900 in Wea, Kansas. She became a Catholic sister, Sister Mercedes. In February 1992, she was still working at the Ursuline office in Paola, Kansas.

• 87. v Clara M. Vohs was born 21 October 1902 in Kansas.

• + 88. vi Aloysius Anthony Vohs was born 10 May 1904 in Kansas, baptized 15 May 1904, married 24 September 1929 to Ella Rosner.

• 89. vii Mary Agnes Vohs was born 16 January 1906, died 21 August 1906, and is buried in Wea Cemetery in row 7, lot 24.

• + 90. viii Lawrence August Vohs born 1 August 1907 Wea, Kansas, married 2 September 1931 to Marie L. Klusman.

• 91. ix Mary Frances Vohs born 21 April 1909 in Kansas, baptized 25 April 1909, married to Leroy Lambotte.

• + 92. x Leonard Anthony Vohs was born 22 November 1911 at Wea, Kansas, baptized 26 November 1911, married Mary Margaret Knecht on 18 August 1936, died 28 August 1981 at Kansas City, Missouri.

• 93. xi Henry William Vohs born 15 January 1913 Wea, Kansas, baptized 26 January 1913, married Mildred Mianovich on 4 May 1946, died 28 August 1981, Kansas City, Missouri.
