ALBERT ANTHONY VOHS

35. Albert Anthony[5] Vohs (Joseph[4] Vohs, Caspar[3] Vohs, Georg Joseph[2] Voos, Caspar[1] Voos) He was born 18 February 1870 in Wea, Kansas. He died on 2 July 1940 in McAllen, Texas, and was buried in McAllen, Texas. He married Cecelia Ann Kircher on 7 December 1892 (13 September 1892) at Wea, Kansas. Cecelia Kircher was born in May 1874 at Louisburg, Kansas. Her parents were Frederick Kircher (died 3 February 1879) and Louisa Fix (died 9 February 1895). She died on 6 January 1948 at San Antonio, Texas, and is buried with her husband in McAllen, Texas.[169]

Albert Vohs and his family left Miami County, Kansas, between 1897 and 1900 and moved to River Township, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma. From 1903 to at least 1910, the family lived in Loyal, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma. On 1 January 1914 the death notice for his mother reported that the family was living in St. Paul, Kansas. During the 1920 census, the family was recorded as living in St. Paul, Neosho County, Kansas. They later moved to McAllen, Texas, in the lower Rio Grande Valley.[170]
