EDWARD PATRICK VOHS

43. Edward Patrick[5] Vohs (Jacob[4] Vohs, Caspar[3] Vohs, Georg Joseph[2] Voos, Caspar[1] Voos) He was born in February 1872 in Kansas. On 11 September 1880, his grandfather, Edward Doherty, was appointed as his guardian by the Miami County Court. He was married at Paola, Kansas, to Isabella (Belle) Lower of Bucyrus, Kansas by Probate Judge J. M. Mason on 19 February 1896. She was born in February 1877 in Missouri. In the Register of Marriages, her parents are listed as Houston Lower and Elizabeth Hook.

In 1915 he was a farmer in Ten Mile Township. He later had a restaurant in Bucyrus before moving to Oregon in about 1930. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in Echo, Oregon, in 1956.[180]

The family group records list his name as Edward Patrick Vohs and his wife's name as Isabella (Bell) Lower The letter from Maxine Kircher notes the family moved to Oregon where they celebrated their 60th anniversary.
