>Family History of Oliver Garrett WALLING
The Kansas Heritage Server would like to thank John Sissom
(JDSissom@Juno.com) for contributing this material.
Oliver Garrett Walling had another sister, Nellie Walling,
who married Lawson Whitehead late in life (about age 60) and had
no children. They have both passed on.
Another letter said Oliver was working in the oil fields of
Eldorado, Kansas, and elsewhere in 1920 or so. Some letters tell
of Oliver leaving Winifred and filing for a divorce, which was
granted January 6, 1924. We found a photo inscribed "Winnie, Nov.
1910", which depicts two young women. Oliver Garrett Walling was
last known to be in San Jose, California.
