Tombstone of Elizabeth George Baily, wife of Alexander Baily, in the Burlingame Cemetery. Elizabeth left Butler County, Ohio in the 1840s with her parents, brothers, and sisters. They settled in Andrew County, MO, to farm. There she married Alexander, born in 1819 in Brooke County, WV. Elizabeth was 37 when she and her infant daughter, Elizabeth, died in 1867.

Centrally located in the town cemetery is the Civil War monument.
