Lawrence C. Garlow, son of William H. and Maggie Garlow, was born on a farm
  around Hazelton, Kansas in 1921. He spent his early childhood in that area
  and graduated from Hazelton High School in 1939. He served four years in the
  armed forces during World War II.
     He married the former Joyce Hull, daughter of Harry and Edna Hull, in 1946.
  To this union were born Gregory L. and Judith A. Garlow.
     Joyce and Lawrence both retired from the Gates Rubber Company of Denver,
  Colorado, in 1976. They now reside in Loveland, Colorado.
     Their son, Greg, is an engineer with Hewlett-Packard Company located in
  Denver, Colorado. Their daughter, Judy, lives and works in Denver, Colorado.
