Carl Edward Heath

Carl Edward Heath and Frances May Seamster were married near Maysville, Arkansas,
close to where the three states meet - Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri. We lived at
Gravette, Arkansas, moving close to Noel, Mo., in 1944. Our children were all born
at Gravette. In the summer and fall of 1946 we moved to Kiowa, Kansas (South Barber
  County).
Our family consisted of three children, Carl Jean our daughter, and two sons,
Richard H. and Billy R. They attended grade and high school at Kiowa.
Carl worked for ranchers, on the Santa Fe Railroad and road construction work,
before taking a job with Barbara Oil Company in 1953. He worked on the Page Lease
southeast of Medicine Lodge. The family moved on into Medicine Lodge in October of
  1961.
Trusting the Good Lord to carry us through the many ahrd places along the way,
we tried to make an honest dollar by hard work.
At the present time we are caretakers at the Carry Nation Memorial Home. Our
daugther, Carol, lives in Springfield, Missouri. Sons Billy Ray in Dan Dimas,
California, and Richard in Medicine Lodge.
We have four grandsons and one granddaughter, also one great granddaughter.
They are Kevin, Kurt, and Kerrie Scott, and Brendon and Bryan Heath. The great
  granddaughter is Arien Scott.
We don't consider ourselves old timers, but know we are also nor the newcomers
  either.
