Clyde JOhnson


     Clyde Johnson, Perry, Oklahoma, met Nadine McKeever, Sharon, Kansas, at
  Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma. After their marriage and time in
  World War II, they established their home at Sharon.
     In 1947 they moved into their present home, where Nadine's mother lived
  as a child.
     Clyde farms with his father-in-law. Nadine taught at the high school 
  until their first daughter, Nancy, was born. Kevin and Virginia Mae came
  along to round out the family.
     Community and church activities keep them busy - Clyde as an elder in
  the Christian Church and a city councilman, Nadine with women's work in
  the church and continueing as a substitute teacher. Clyde and Nadine also
  own and operate the Coin Laundry in Sharon.
     The children have continued their education after high school graduation.
  Nancy graduated from Northwestern State Teachers College, Alva, Oklahoma,
  and is a teacher of home economics and library science at Attica. She is
  married to Darrel Trantham; they have two daughters, Amy and Andrea.
     Kevin is a registered nurse and is employed at Wesley Medical Center in
  Nursing Services, Wichita.
     Virginia attended Kansas Institute and worked as a dental assistant. She 
  is married to Dioan Broce and has a son, Shane, and daughter, Shala DeMae.
