Melissa Jane Kimsey, the fourth child of Fred and Oma Kimsey, was born December
  10, 1919, at Medicine Lodge. She got her schooling in Medicine until her Junior 
  year, when she and her sister, Florence, moved to Hazelton, Kansas, where she
  graduated in 1938. In 1940 she married Glenn H. Mease, son of Henry and Laura 
  (Wehling) Mease of the Isabel and Nashville Community. They were farmers in this
  community until 1976 when they moved to Turon, Kansas. A son, Fred, and a daughter,
  Glenna, were born to this union. Fred Mease married Venora Lampe, and they have
  two daughters, Cynthia Jean and Karla Kae. They live in Pratt, Kansas. Glenna is
  married to Melvin Reif. They have three daughters, Kimberly Anne, Kathy Lynn, and
  Kristy Kay. They live in Kiowa, Kansas. Glenn Mease passed away June 1, 1978, and
  one granddaughter Rhonda Renee Mease, in 1965.
