Leslie Mathews and Doris Rowe were married November 7, 1945 at the
     Christina Church in Sharon, Kansas. After we were married we made our
     home on my grandparents farm - the Dell Rowe place 4 /12 miles south 
     of Sharon which we now own.
       Leslie came to Kansas from Knowles, Oklahoma with his parents at the
     age of 14. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Mathews and one of ten
     children. Leslie served four years with the United States Army during
     WWII.
       Doris is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Rowe. She has lived near
     Sharon all her life. Doris has one brother, Charles. Doris attended
     Phillips University, Enid, Oklahoma three eyars. Leslie and Doris
     graduated from Sharon High School - Leslie in 1940, Doris in 1942.
       Our famly consists of six children - all graduating from Sharon High
     School, Elbert Lynn was born October 21, 194. Lynn graduated with the
     class of 1965. Lynn received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from
     Wichita State University in 1969. He worked on year in New York City
     with the Arthur Anderson Accounting Company. Lynn went to the University
     of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and received his Master's Degree in 1971.
     Lynn then took a position with the Citibank of New York City. His work
     with the bank has taken him to many foreign countries. Lynn and Fiona
     Watson, Sydney, Australia, were married August 5, 1978 in Sydney and for
     the past year have been living in Mexico City, Mexico.
       Linda Kay was born October 29, 1950. Linda graduated from high school
     with the class of 1968. She attended Wichita University for two years and
     transferred to Kansas State University, Manhattan and received her Bachelor's
     Degree in Art and Interior Design in December 1972. Linda worked in Wichita
     for Coultis Interiors until July 1974, then moved to Lafayette, Louisiana
     where she still resides. She is employed as a geological draftsman for
     Energy Reserves Oil Company in Lafayette.
       Lorrie Dell was born November 11, 1954, and graduated with the Class of
     1972. He attended Kansas State University for two years and transferred
     to Wichita State University. Lorrie graduated from the Wichita Police
     Academy in September 1976 nad has been working as a Wichita City Policeman
     since graduation. Lorrie and Cathy Wendell, Garden Plains, Kansas were
     married April 8, 1978. Cathy is a registered nurse at the Wichita Clinic.
       Our twin daughters were born August 19, 1957 - Debra Leanne and Doris
     Lynette. They graduated from high school with the class of 1975. Leanne
     attended Kansas State University for three years. She is now employed in
     the Curde Oil Tax Department of Koch Industries in Wichita. Lynette
     attended Fort Hays State College, Hays for 2 1/2 years and received an
     Associate Science Degree in Secretarial Administration. Lynette is employed
     as cashier in the Controller's Office at Wichita State University.
       Lowell Alan was born January 18, 1959. Lowell graduated with the class of
     1977. Lowell is presently attending college at Kansas State University,
     where he will be a Junior this fall.
