Clifford Phye

   
        Leona Mae Wren and Charles Clifford Phye were marred on May 19, 1924,
      in Woodward, Oklahoma. They came to Barber County in October, 1925, and
      lived in Medicine Lodge. They have lived on Iliff Street for forty-
      seven years.
        They have three children: Wade Phye, Maxine (Mrs. Howard Green), and
      Betty (Mrs. J.C. Rhyne). There are two grandchildren, Tommy Martin Green,
      aged 17 years, and Connie Marie Green, 13 years.
        Clifford was employed at National Gypsum Plant for thirteen years. He
      worked at the Pixley elevator and finally retired as caretaker of
      Highland Cemetery after fourteen years. Leona has been active in Pixley
      Quilting Club for many years and is an expert quilter.
        Wade and Maxine and her family are Barber County residents. Betty
      recently returned to help care for her father.
