Benjamin F. Talbott
Benjamin F. Talbott was a pioneer in Barber County. He was born in Ohio in 1842.
He brought his family to Kansas from Missouri in a covered wagon in 1886 and located
near Gerlane, Kansas. He died there in 1898.
He was married to Celinda Angstadt, who was born in Ohio in 1884; she died in
Medicine Lodge, Kansas in 1913.
Their children were: Homer, who married Minnie Scott; Bell, married to Bob
Groendycke; Emma Blanch, who married Bud Groendycke; Maude Ella, who married Clarence
Martin; Nettie, married to will Downtain; Clifford Allan. All are deceased.
