Eric Armstrong
Eric Armstrong, son of Kenneth and Rosalee (Hamm) Armstrong was born
April 24, 1957. He was born in the Nashville Hospital, Nashville, Kansas,
and lived in Sawyer until 1961. The family moved to Medicine Lodge where
Eric lived until he went to college. Eric attended York College in York,
Nebraska, where he enjoyed playing soccer.
Eric married Kathy Drinnon on October 1, 1977 at Lawrence, Kansas. I
was born June 28, 1958 in Lawrence. I was attending York College where I
met Eric. I'm the oldest of three children. My parents, brother, sister
and families still reside in Lawrence.
Eric has worked at the Isabel Coop since April, 1979, starting in
fertilizer and now runs the feedmill. We bought some land from Carlton
Hakanson east of Isabel, where we now make our home. On the farm we raise
cattle, hogs and wheat.
I'm a housewife and help out around the farm when I'm needed. I'm a
member of Valley Builders EHU and Iota Beta Sorority, Beta Sidma PHi. I
also enjoy doing counted cross stich but three boys keep me busy. Seth
Daniel was born June 30, 1978, Cody Boone, August 19, 1981 and Colter Sig,
August 14, 1986. We lost a son, Patrick Ross, May 20, 1984. He is laid to
rest at he Isabel Cemetery.
We are members of the Isabel Church of Christ. Eric and I teach Bible
Classes and help with vacation Bible School.
