I was born in Isabel, Kansas in 1925 to Levi and Myrtle Corbin. I was
one of four children: Kenneth, Glenn, Olive, and Richard.
I attended the Isabel Grade and High School, graduating in 1943. After
graduation I entered Wesley School of Nursing and graduated from there in
1946. In 1949 I married Clifford W. Bell of Schulte, Kansas. He was a meat
     cutter and retired in 1975.
In 1948 I went to the Veterans Administration as a staff nurse. I was
Head Nurse in Intensive Care for 15 years and retired in 1981 after 34 years
     of government service.
Since retirement we have enjoyed camping and fishing and traveling
     around Kansas in our trailer.
