Frances Bolt
Frances Bolt was born on the family farm, five miles north of Isabel.
She attended Ashton grade school, and graduated from the Isabel High School.
She was a charter member of the Ashton 4-H Club and was an active member
from many years. She helped organize one other club in the county. One of her
awards was a trip to the 4-H Club Congress in Chicago. Frances attended
Sunday School and Church at Ashton and held offices in both. She also held
offices in Ashton community club and Ashton Incorporated. She is a member
of the EHU. She maintained a home for her parents until their deaths. She is
president of the Isabel Methodist Women, also membership secretary for the
church.
