JOhn Robert (Bob) Bush, was born August 18, 1948 at Alva, Oklahoma, son
     of Duane and Marian Bush. He lived almost five years in Alva moving with his
     parents to a farm six and a half miles north of Isabel in July, 1953.
          Bob attended Isabel Schools for twelve years graduating in 1966. During
     that time he participated in many activities; sports, drama plays, choir, band
     and student council. He attended the Methodist Church being active in the
     youth group and church choir.
          Furthering his education at Pratt Community Junior College Bob graduated
     in May, 1968 and then went to Fort Hays State graduating in December, 1972
     with a degree in Physical Education.
          In May, 1970 Bob joined the National Guard at Russell, Kansas serving
     at Russell and Pratt during his six year tenure.
          Bob married Jill Roberts of Pratt on June 5, 1971. She is the daughter
     of Zella Roberts and the late Richard Roberts. Jill attended Cullison Schools
     her first eight years and the last four years at Pratt graduating in 1967.
     She attended Pratt Community Junior College graduating in May 1969 and Fort
     Hays State graduating in May, 1972 with a degree in music education. Jill
     taught one year at Attica while Bob finished his education. They accepted
     jobs at Leoti, Kansas where Bob taught 7th and 8th grade science, physical
     education and coached football, basketbal, and track. Jill taught music and
     band at two small elementary schools outside Leoti, High Plains and Marienthal.
     They taught and lived at Leoti for nine years.
          For the past fifteen years Bob has officiated basketball, a sport he
     played and enjoys.
          In March 1987 Bob and Jill are expecting their first child.
