David Dewitt Callen
David Dewitt Callen ("Uncle Dave") and wife, Jessie Benton (Brooks)
Callen moved to Isabel area in 1906. Both are buried in the Isabel Cemetery.
Their five children were: Edd Elsworth; Otto Orel; Cleo Paul; Harold Verne;
and Arthur Fleming.
Edd married Eunice Dolbow January 27, 1914. Both are buried in the
Isabel cemetery. Their sons are Donald Dewitt Callen, Edmonds, Washington;
Tony Verne Callen, Wichita, Kansas.
Otto moved to Murdo, South Dakota and was a brakeman on the railroad.
Children are: Gwen (Callen) Marlovits; Bess (Callen) Leal; Lloyd Callen -
all living in California.
Paul married Josephine Mease. Both are buried in the Isabel cemetery.
Their children are: Kathleen (Callen) Todd; Delbert Rene "Bob"; and Lonnie
Edward. Paul worked for the Telephone Company and lived in Isabel, Stafford,
Florence, Dodge City, Hutchinson, and Wichita, Kansas.
Verne married Charlotte Bronte. They had one daughter, Beth Marlene
(Callen) Millikan. Verne was a barber and lived in Isabel, Stafford, Scott
City, and Hutchinson.
Arthur married Regina Fury. Their children are: Linda Jayne (Callen)
Miller; and David Patrick. He is buried in the Isabel Cemetery. He lived in
Isabel, Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Garden City, Kansas.
