Harve and Maggie Munden Callen came to Isabel in 1911 from Coradon, Iowa.
They were accompanied by their two children, Fern (Phipps) and Lloyd A. They
settled on a farm north and east of Isabel. However, Herve was a barber in
Isabel and Maggie operated and owned the hotel in Isabel. Harve died in
     1926 and Maggie in 1979.
Lloyd A. Callen served in World War I in the Navy, where he was a barber.
He married Berneice Cloud and settled in Scott City, Kansas, where Lloyd
was a barber and a wheat farmer. They had three daughters: Mary Lee, Shirley,
and Barbara. Lloyd died in December, 1986; Berneice still lives in Scott
     City.
