Donald was born to George and Maudie Edsall in April 1924 in Oklahoma. 
     He lived there until 1939 when he came to Isabel to make his home with his
     uncle and aunt, Bob and Blanche Bell. He graduated from Isabel High School
     in 1943 and entered the military. He served in World War II until it was
     over. He came back to Isabel and worked in Bell's Market.
          Shirley was born to Frank and Goldie Shea in Kansas in 1930. She
     attended school in Pratt. Don and Shirley were married in the Sacred Heart
     Church in Pratt in June 1947. They lived in Isabel and surrounding towns
     for 14 years when they moved to Gunnison, Colorado in 1961. During this
     time they had three children, Sandy, Dinky and Connie. The youngest, Sally,
     was born in Colorado. They raised their family there and lived there 26
     years. Don worked for the state and Shirley worked in the school system.
          This year, 1987, they are moving back to Isabel after Don retires.
