Louis Albert Ford and Leila Melissa Carl were married at Ulysses, 
     Kansas December 1910. They moved to Kingman County then to Pratt County
     on farms noetheast of Isabel in 1912.
          Albert and Leila were parents of eight children: Leona (deceased
     one year), Eunice, Vernice, Edith, Norma, Lorn, Albert (Bert), and Ray. 
     All attended school at Hardscrabble.
          Eunice married Sam Oller in 1933. They lived in and near Isabel
     until 1949. They have four children who were born near Isabel, Lola Jean,
     Albert Wayne, Carolyn Leila and Gary Sam. All attended school in Isabe.
          Vernice married John Lauby in 1934. They lived in Kingman, Kansas
     where John worked in the flour mill. They have two daughters Janet and
     Karen. The flour mill at Kingman was moved to Jacksonville, Florida so
     John and family moved there, where they now live and have retired.
          Edith married Wilbert Lampe in 1934, lived on farms near Pratt, 
     Kansas. Both are deceased. They were parents of Dean, Donna and Willis.
          Norma married Clarence Lampe in 1939. They now live in Kingman,
     Kansas. They are parents of Larry, Sandra and Debbie.
          Lorn Ford married Wilma Mae Price in 1946. They lived in Isabel
     where their children Paula, Wilma Rae (deceased), Billy Lorn and L.A.
     were born. Lorn was an auctioneer, butchered and ran the locker plant 
     for awhile in Isabel. Lorn is deceased. May and children live in Garden
     City.
          Bert Ford married Mildred Finch in 1941. They lived in Pratt,
     Colorado and then in Russel, Kansas for retirement. They have two sons
     Loran Allan and Terry Lynn. Bert was a car salesman; Mildred a beautician,
     Bert is deceased. Mildred resides in Russell.
          Ray Ford lived on the home place northeast of Isabel and farmed. He
     married Joan Aldrich in 1978. they now live in Pratt, Kansas.
          Many people will remember the parties we had at the home of Albert
     and Leila Ford. They loved and understood young people who were always
     welcome in their home.
