Lyman Harding born in 1889 married Lillie Cirkel born in 1897 in the
     Isabel vicinity where they spent their entire lives. They were the parents
     of eight children. Duane born in 1925 died shortly after birth. The others
     attended Isabel Grade and High School. The boys were active in sports. Lyman
     was a member of the IOOF Lodge and Lillie was a Rebekah. He died in 1956 and
     she in 1982.
          Eugene "Turk" born in 1916 married Lois Mease. Their daughter Eugenia
     Schafer, her husband, Dave and daughter Angie live in Omaha, Nebraska. Their
     son Sam, his wife Jacquie and son Phillip live in St. Louis, Missouri. Eugene
     retired from Western Power in 1981 after 40 years of service. Lois has been
     a doctor's receptionist for 26 years in Concordia, Kansas.
          Vernon born in 1920 was employed by Phillips Oil Company. He was killed
     in an accident near Alva, Oklahoma in 1941.
          Ralph born in 1923 joind the Army Air Force during World War II and was
     killed in a plane crash in England in 1943.
          Lloyd born in 1927 and his wife Clara live in Harper, Kansas. He was
     formerly married to Rosie Wohlschegel. They were the parents of five children:
     Elaine, Joe, Shelley, Shawn and Troy. All live in the Harper area.
          Leona born in 1933 is married to Willis Muth. Their daugher Teri married
     Steve Taylor. They all live in Wichita. Leona and Willis have been employed
     by Boeing Aircraft Company for many years.
          Dean born in 1936 married Violet Hensiek. They have two children, Mike
     and Deanene, who are students. Dean is employed by Williams Gas Company at
     Enid, Oklahoma, where they live. Violet is a nurse.
          Lois born in 1939 is married to Donald Hare. They have two daughers,
     Deana and Donna. All live in the Chicago area. Donald is employed by the former
     International Harvester Company.
          The family is proud to be a part of the Isabel community and recall a
     lot of fond memories while growing up there.
