Glenn Eugene Inslee was born October 23, 1951 at Nashville, Kansas, the
first child of Theop and Phyllis Mullikin Inslee. Glenn attended elementary
schools in Isabel, Pratt, and Emporia, Kansas; junior high school in Norman,
OK; high school in Wakenney, KS and Suttle, AL. He graduated from Wakenney
High School in 1969, lettering in wrestling. When the rest of the family
moved to Ada, OK, he began college on a wrestling scholarship at Garden City,
KS. He attended Fort Hays State College and then, after knee surgery, moved
to Ada, OK. There he enlisted in the US Army and served two years.
On December 28, 1974 Glenn married Donna Joanne Hodges at the First
Methodist Church in Ada, OK. Donna is the daughter of Bob and Carole Jones
Hodges. They lived in Newton, KS, for a short time and they returned to Ada
where they both attended East Central Oklahoma State University. Their two
children were born in Ada: Crystal Dawn on December 12, 1977 and William
Andrew "Drew" on May 16, 1984.
Glenn and Donna and their children live northwest of Fittstown, OK in a
log and rock house which Glenn designed and is constructing. Glenn is a
carpenter, a state certified welder, and in the construction business, besides
being very much involved in the Inslee Fish Farm.
While Theop was pursuing his college education the family returned each
summer to live and work on the Inslee farm. This return was the high point
of every year. One summer the boys were asked to completely tear down an old
pull-type combine. They wre delighted and learned a great deal about machinery.
One of their favorite places was the big mud hole southeast of the house. They
built many rafts on which they "sailed" the pond. They also spent many hours
playing in the shade of the large tree near the cave where a tire swing was in
regular use. That farm and Isabel will always be a special place to this
     whole family.
