Victor Inslee
Victor Dean Inslee was born December 11, 1923 to William and Artine
(Deistler) Inslee on the family farm three miles east and one-fourth mile
north. He attended school at Isabel and graduated in 1941. He enlisted in
the U.S. Coast Guard October 9, 1941. He married Stephanie Wesolowsik in
Brooklyn, New York on August 28, 1945. After being discharged in November
1945, he returned to Isabel to farm. They ahve two daughters, Linda, born
July 6, 1946 and Bonnie born January 7, 1953. They moved to Sunnyvale,
California in 1957. In November 1958 he homesteaded in Paul, Idaho and
continued to farm, raising potatoes and other grains until he sold the
farm in 1968. The family moved to Hood River, Oregon where Victor and
Stephanie still reside.
Linda is married to Steve Langer and lives in Burley, Idaho. They
have a son, Thad, attending college in Moscow, Idaho. Bonnie is married
to Jim Williams and they have a son, Ryan. They also reside in Hood River,
Oregon.
Victor is semi-retired and enjoys fishing and doing carpenter work.
