Staci Armstrong Jacobs
Staci Armstrong was born August 28, 1963, at Nashville, Kansas, the
youngest of two children born to Robert J. (Jim) and Carolyn (House)
Armstrong. Staci grew up in Isabel, attending school there one year. She
then attended the Medicine Lodge Schools, graduating from high school in
1981. She furthered her education at the Pratt County Community College
and received an Associate of Science Degree in 1983. In August of 1981,
she met Cord Jacobs. Cord was born July 16, 1961, the youngest of three
children born to Lloyd and Candace Jacobs. He was raised on his parents
ranch west of Lake City. He also attended the Medicine Lodge Schools,
graduating in 1979. He participated in football all through high school
and made All Conference Defensive Line during his senior year.
Cord and Staci were married September 13, 1983 and presently reside
and work in Medicine Lodge. Staci was employed in a Medicine Lodge law
office from March 1983, until January of 1986, when she started work at
the Barber County Savins and Loan Association. Cord worked for Texas Oil
and Gas Company from 1982, until May of 1986. In October of 1986, he started
his own business, JB Sales and Service.
Cord and Staci spend most of their free time water skiing, camping
and snow skiing. Cord is an avid hunter and Staci enjoys horseback riding.
