Jerry Jones
Jerry and Anita M. Jones might be the newest residents in the Isabel
community. We were married September 19, 1976 in McCune, Kansas. We have
two boys: Keith Everette, born September 16, 1978 in Ft. Scott, KS; Joel
Kent, born August 21, 1985 in Parsons, KS. We moved from McCune, KS to
Isabel in November of 1985. Jerry is the rural mail carrier here in Isabel
and Nashville.
Jerry has three girls, Tammy 21, Jay 18, and Suzy 16 and I have a girl
and boy Shari 20, Jimmy 18.
Jerry was born March 19, 1942 to Avis and Arlon Jones in Parsons. He
has a sister Nancy. He went to school in Parsons thru grade school and went
to Altamont High School. He enlisted in the Air Force for 4 years. He went
to work for McDonnell Douglas in 1966. Later he had his own auto and tire
repair in McCune for 2 years. He graduated from Parsons Junior College with
an Associates of Arts Degree in Industrial Management.
I was born in Parsons, September 19, 1946 to Flora and Jim McClure. I
have a half brother in Topeka, KS. I attended Parsons grae school and
graduated in 1964 and attended Parsons Junior College. I worked as a waitress
thru my school years and my last job was at Brodericks, a garment factory.
I pressed vinyl and tackle twill letters on jackets and shirts.
