Patty Jo Brooks was born July 28, 1955, at Nashville, Kansas, Hospital
   to Dietrick and Elenor (Westerman) Helmke, last of four children.
     Patty attended and was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church, along
   with her sisters LaVeda and Marlene and brother Rodney Helmke.
     Wesley Broks was born in Alexandria, Louisiana, to Ralph and Edna 
   (Bloom) Brooks of Erie/Chanute, Kansas.
     Patty met and married Wesley Brooks March 1, 1980, at St. Andrew's
   Lutheran Church in Wichita, Kansas, by Pastor Arno Meyer.
     Our family tree has now branched with two young daughters, Ashlee
   Dawn, born April 27, 1983, and Rachel Marie, born April 6, 1985.
     We now reside in Valley Center, Kansas, and are still current members
   of St. Andrew's. Patty is employed by Farm Credit Banks and Wes is employed
   by Unified School District #259, Wichita.
