George F. Dierking & Dora (Peters) Dierking

George Dierking of Palmer, Kansas, and Dora Peters of Nashville, Kansas,
were married in St. John's, Nashville, October 26, 1924, by Pastor Fred C.
Duecker. They lived in Palmer, Kansas, where their two children were born,
Harold George in March 1930 and Darleen Dorothy, January 1933. In 1936
they returned home to Nashville until about 1944 when they purchased their
home in Nashville where they lived and were active in St. John's until
  their deaths.
Harold and Darleen attended St. John's school for several years and
  were confirmed in St. John's.
After graduating from Nashville High School and serving a tour in the
Army, Harold moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he worked for and
retired from a Firestone Store. He and Kay Shelton were married in May
1961 in Colorado Springs. They have three children and one grandson. Stanley,
born in 1963, works as a metallurgist based in Denver. Bruce, born in 1965
lives in Longmont, Colorado, with his wife Charlene and teaches school.
Shelly, born in 1969, lives with her son Scott in Greeley where she attends
college and plans to teach. Kay worked for several years in a medical office
and now takes care of their home while Harold does maintenance for an office
  complex.
Darleen was married to Don Keller in 1951 at St. John's. We lived in
Hutchinson where two of our children were born, Barbara in December 1952 and
Terry in January 1956. Don passed away in 1987. My children and I still live
in Wichita where I have worked in aircraft plants for twenty-five years.
Barbara and Dennis have three sons: Cory, Paul and David. Barbara manages
a flower shop and Dennis operates a comparison shopping business. Terry has
a home repair business and Nancy lives with her daughter Angelique and is
active in school affairs. Gary works for a real estate company doing
  maintenance on rental property.
