Steven Paul Hellman & Mary (Vierthaler) Hellman

I am the youngest child of Gene and Eunice Hellman. I grew up at Nashville,
northeast of town on my mother's home place. I went to Lutheran school for
three years, then to public school. I graduated from Nashville-Zenda High
School. I attended one year of college at Pratt Community Junior College.
I was confirmed when I was in the eighth grade. Merlyn Lohrke was pastor
  then.
My wife, Mary Vierthaler, was from Zenda. She graduated from Nashville-
Zenda High School and attended business college in Hutchinson.
We were married September 5, 1977, and live southwest of Nashville. We
live on the place that my Grandfather Hudson lived on when he was young.
We farm with the family partnership of my dad and mom and Richard and Lora
Hageman. Mary works for the U.S. Postal Service.
We have two sons. Phillip was born May 28, 1980, and Chad was born October
1, 1982. The boys attend Zenda Grade School and are active in baseball and
  4-H.
