Norman J. Hesterberg & Velma M. (Westerman) Hesterberg


    Velma Hesterberg was born April 16, 1919, at Isabel, Kansas, one of four
  children born to John F. and Katie (Peters) Westerman. She was baptized 
  April 27, 1919, in St. John's Lutheran Church, Nashville, by Pastor F.C.
  Duecker.
    She attended St. John's Lutheran School, Nashville, staying week days
  with her grandmother, Friederika Westerman, who at the time lived across
  the street from the church, because her parents were living on a farm 
  south of Isabel, Kansas.
    She was confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church, Nashville, April 9, 1933,
  by Pastor P.G. Krause.
    She married Norman J. Hesterberg of Hutchinson, Kansas, on October 8, 1939,
  at St. John's Lutheran Church, Nashville; Pastor O.L. Mueller officiated.
    They are members of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, Kansas.
  They are both retired.
