Walter George Kruckenberg was born March 2, 1914; he was baptized March 15,
  1914, and was confirmed April 1, 1928, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Nash-
  ville. His father was August Kruckenberg and his mother ws Minnie Bockelman
  Kruckenberg.
    Bessie Byrd was born November 11, 1918, in Cartersville, Oklahoma. Her 
  mother died when she was four and her brother, L.D. Byrd, brought her to
  Isabel to live with his family.
    Walt and Bessie were married October 20, 1936, at the Lutheran Church
  parsonage in Nashville. They moved to the farm four and one-half miles
  east of Isabel. The farm was originally owned by Walt's uncle, George
  Bockelman. Bessie was confirmed March 23, 1939.
    They had two children. Harold Dean Kruckenberg was born July 17, 1937,
  baptized August 8, 1937, and confirmed March 18, 1951. Harold had four 
  children. His eldest daughter, Maria Helen, was born December 12, 1961,
  and died June 6, 1968. His other children are Teresa May Kruckenberg, who
  was born August 23, 1963, and currently lives in San Diego, California;
  Martin Dean Kruckenberg, who was born August 24, 1966, and currently lives
  in San Jose, California; and Anne Marie Kruckenberg, who was born March 20,
  1968, and currently lives in Denver, Colorado.
    On April 20, 1990, Harold married Sharon Marsh. She has two sons, Phil
  Marsh and his wife Marilyn and their three children (Shae, Rhett and Micah)
  live in San Diego. Bret Marsh and his wife Jan live in Hilo, Hawaii. Harold
  and Sharon currently live in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he is an engineer for
  American Airlines.
    Bessie and Walt's other son, Walter Eugene (Gene), was born May 14, 1940.
    Walt died January 20, 1972.
