Walter B. Leimer & Leona (Werner) Leimer
I was engaged as a teacher of St. John's Christian School from 1934-1935.
Twenty-two pupils were enrolled in Grades 1-8. A rhythm band and a school
orchestra were two favorite activities during that year.
After returning to Concordia Teachers College, I was graduated in 1937.
My first teaching assignment was in St. John's Lutheran School in Denver,
Colorado.
During 1946-1947 I served as principal and teacher of Grades 6-8 in St.
Paul's Lutheran School in Omaha, Nebraska.
From 1947-1979 I served as principal and teacher of three Lutheran schools
in the St. Louis, Missouri, area.
Since 1979 I have moved to my present addres in Battle Creek, Nebraska,
where I have membership in St. John's congregation serving in various
functions of the congreagation's ministry.
Since 1939 I have been married to Leona Werner from Battle Creek, Nebraska.
We have three children and five grandchildren.
