Nola Morisse was baptized at St. John Lutheran Church August 2, 1936, by 
   Pastor P.G. Krause. Sponsers were Muriel Lawrenz Raleigh and Goldie Laverentz
   Hensiek. Confirmation was April 2, 1950, by Pastor Herman Seyfert. Membership
   was transferred to Our Savior Lutheran Church, Pratt, Kansas, in 1960.
     Nola was one of seven children born to Roy and Ruby (Steele) Morisse.
     Nola married Elwood McGuire January 28, 1961. Daughter Sherry and her
   husband Geroge Cross and son Kenneth and his wife Cyndi are all members of
   Our Savior Lutheran Church in Pratt. Nola and Elwood have six grandsons: 
   Corey, Kevin, Terry and Tyson McGuire and Mark and Brian Cross. All live
   at Pratt for them to enjoy.
     Elwood is still farming and Nola retired from Southwestern Bell in 1989
   after thirty years of service.
