Bradley Gene Pagenkopf & Deborah (Mehl) Pagenkopf
Brad and Deb met at Sterling College, Sterling, Kansas, where they both
earned BS degrees in education. Deb is originally from Hamilton, Ohio.
Brad is a native of the Isabel/Nashville area; he is the son of Dean
Pagenkopf and Eunice (Morisse) Pagenkopf. He was baptized in August 1953
and confirmed in April 1967. They were married on July 30, 1977, at St.
John's Lutheran Church in Nashville.
Deb taught in Ness City. After their marriage, they moved to Pratt, Kansas,
where Brad presently teaches social studies and physical education and
coaches in the Skyline School District. After a year and a half of substitute
teaching, Deb was hired fulltime with the Pratt School District in the middle
school where she presently teaches health and physical education and also
coaches.
They have two daughters. Kelby Jo was born March 5, 1982. Tara Ann was born
January 23, 1985. Both were born at Pratt Regional Medical Center.
Brad spends the majority of his spare time at the farm in Nashville,
farming with his dad. When he is not at the farm, he is watching sports on
television. Brad is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Deb is involved in various drug education programs to promote chemical
health and prevent drug abuse. She is a member and deacon at Pratt
Presbyterian Church. In her spare time she enjoys cross-stitching, sewing,
cooking and canning.
Kelby, like her parents, enjoys an active live of various sports, dance,
and gymnastics. Tara enjoys reading, playing the piano and dancing.
