Wilma was born January 20, 1932, to William and Mary (Peters) Westerman
   at Nashville, Kansas. She was baptized January 31, 1932, at St. John's by
   the Rev. P.G. Krause and confirmed April 14, 1946, by the Rev. O.L. Mueller.
     On August 20, 1950, she married Clarence B. Pettay at Nashville with the
   Rev. Herman Seyfert officiating. C.B. became a member of St. John's on
   January 28, 1951. He died February 14, 1988, at Hutchinson.
     They had four children. Michael, born December 10, 1952, and David, born
   January 15, 1958, live in Wichita. Janice Zerger, born May 7, 1955, and
   Diane Schultz, born September 18, 1959, both live in Hutchinson. They are
   seven grandchildren.
     Wilma lives in Hutchinson and is a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
