Elverna Westerman REimer was born April 9, 1927, to Fred and Hulda (Hensiek)
   Westerman at Nashville, Kansas. She was baptized and confirmed in St. John's
   Lutheran Church. She attended the Christian Day School for seven years; eighth
   grade and high school were attended at Isabel, Kansas.
     In 1945, she went to work at Farmers Alliance Insurance Company, McPherson,
   Kansas.
     In 1947, she married Paul Reimer of Inman, Kansas. They have five children.
   Melva, who was born January 29, 1950, lives in Hutchinson, Kansas. Wayne, born
   April 5, 1952, also lives in Hutchinson. Michael, born November 12, 1953, lives
   at Katy, Texas. Tandy, born February 29, 1956, lives at Inman, Kansas. Kevin,
   born January 19, 1959, also lives in Inman.
     They have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
     They farm and live on Paul's grandparents' homestead east of Inman.
     Elverna enjoys embroidering quilts and quilting.
