Phil was born Jun 7, 1951, in Nashville, the youngest of fourteen children
   born to Frank and Rose Theis. After returning to college in 1989, he obtained
   his degree in elementary education and began teaching the fifth grade at Zenda
   Grade School in Zenda, Kansas, in 1991; he is still currently teaching there.
     Gloria was born April 30, 1954, in Nashville and was the second daughter
   born to Laverne and Geneva Westerman. She was baptized and confirmed at St.
   John's Lutheran Church in Nashville. She is currently employed at Strong's
   Insurance, Inc., where she has worked for the past fourteen and one-half years.
     During a previous marriage, two daughters were born. Heather Michele Padfield
   was born January 25, 1976, in Medicine Lodge, Kansas. Tamara Christine Padfield
   was born July 12, 1981, Medicine Lodge, Kansas. Heather is attending Cunningham 
   High School in Cunningham, Kansas. Tamara is attending the Zenda Grade School
   in Zenda, Kansas.
     On April 26, 1986, Phil and Gloria were married in the St. John's Lutheran
   Church in Nashville. A daughter, Kristen Kay Theis, was born on June 4, 1987,
   in Medicine Lodge, Kansas; she is currently attending Zenda Grade School in 
   Zenda, Kansas.
