Carl was born May 8, 1905, and baptized June 11, 1905, at Humboldt, Kansas.
   His family moved to Cunningham in 1913. He was confirmed April 30, 1922, at
   Nashville by Pastor Duecker.
     Anita was born July 15, 1912, at Haysville, Kansas, and baptized August 5,
   1912, at Cheney. She was confirmed August 15, 1926, at Cheney.
     Carl and Anita were married October 29, 1939, in Cheney. They lived all
   their married life north of Cunningham where they farmed. Carl died March
   29, 1959, at Rago while spending Easter with Anita's mother.
     Anita worked in the nursing home in Cunningham until she retired in 1978
   to go to Germany. She enjoyed her seven month stay with her daughter. She
   suffered a stroke in 1985 and spent her last years in poor health. She
   belonged to Dorcas Society for many years and enjoyed the projects and
   purpose of the Society. She died December 26, 1990. They are both buried
   north of Cunningham.
     Their daughter Imogene Anna was born February 15, 1941, and baptized
   March 23, 1941, by Pastor Mueller. She was confirmed May 29, 1955, by 
   Pastor Seyfert. She married Kenneth Hagewood April 10, 1965, at Nashville.
   They live at Lewis, Kansas, and have three daughters and two granddaughters.
     Aileen Edna was born March 23, 1942, and baptized April 19, 1942, by
   Pastor Mueller. She was confirmed March 25, 1956, by Pastor Seyfert. She
   lives in Cunningham and is a cosmetologist. She taught Sunday School a
   number of years and sings in the church choir.
     Louise Juliana was born July 3, 1943, and baptized August 8, 1943, by
   Pastor Mueller. She was confirmed April 14, 1957, by Pastor Dale. She
   lives in Cunningham and works in the gorcery store. She taught Sunday
   School a number of years and sings in the church choir.
     Gladys Elaine was born February 15, 1949, and baptized March 20, 1949,
   by Pastor Seyfert. She was confirmed April 12, 1963, by Pastor Amen. She
   married William James Yearta September 27, 1976, in Frankfurt, Germany.
   They both retired after twenty years in the Army. They have a boy and a
   girl and live in Winter Haven, Florida.
