Jerry Alan Westerman was born September 24, 1963, at Nashville Kansas,
   the older of two children born to Ralph and Monita (Howell) Westerman. He
   was baptized on October 13, 1963, at St. John's Lutheran Church. He was
   confirmed March 19, 1978.
     On October 8, 1983, Jerry Alan was married to Karla Jo Werner at St.
   John's by Pastor Martin Helmer. Kayla Renee was born January 15, 1987,
   at Kingman, Kansas. She was bap[tized February 15, 1987, at St. John's.
   Jace Devin was born July 28, 1988, at Kingman, Kansas. He was baptized
   August 21, 1988, at St. John's.
     Jerry grew up in Nashville and, following his marriage to Karla, moved
   to the Werner farm between Nashville and Zenda. They make the third
   generation to live on the family farm. Jerry has been farming and also
   working as a mechanic and bus driver for USD #332 since 1983. Karla has
   been driving a school bus for USD #332 since 1984 and also helps keep up
   with the farm work.
     Jerry has been a lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Jerry
   and his family hope to build many family memories in the years to come
   through their attendance at St. John's.
