Shelly Westerman was born November 24, 1971, at the Medicine Lodge Memorial
  Hospital, the youngest of three daughters born to Fredrick and Sue (James)
  Westerman. Her sisters are Dena Depenbusch and Jana Green.
    She was baptized December 19, 1971, in St. John's Lutheran Church by Pastor
  Miller and confirmed in 1986 by Pastor Betow.
    Shelly attended the Medicine Lodge schools, graduating with the Class of
  1990. She was active in sports and extracurricular activities. She held
  several offices in St. John's Youth Group and was a member of the B-Square
  4-H Club for ten years.
    Shelly's interests include playing softball, jogging, swimming and spending
  time with friends.
    She is a junior at Kansas State University in Manhattan.
