Cecil was born in 1939 to Edna (Kalthoff) Westerman and the late Henry
   Westerman. He was baptized in 1939 at St. John's. Cecil attended the
   Lutheran School and was confirmed in 1953. He was a member of the Walther
   League. It was at a retreat that he met Elizabeth (great great granddaughter
   of Jacob Kuehn).
     Elizabeth was born in 1940 at Haven, Kansas, to Elizabeth (Dora Ruebke)
   and the later Walter C. Kuehn. She was baptized at St. Paul's in Haven,
   Kansas. She attended Our Redeemer Lutheran School at Hutchinson, Kansas,
   and was confirmed there in 1954.
     On July 18, 1965, Cecil and Liz were married at Bethany Lutheran in
   Wichita, Kansas.
     Cecil has been actibe in LLL. He has been the local and zone president.
   He sang in the choir, helped with Sunday School and held other church
   offices.
     Liz has been actibe in LWML where she has been the local as well as the
   zone president. She taught Sunday School for twenty-four years and directed
   the choir for a few more years. There were many years of VBS and mid-week
   teaching.
     To this marriage there were born two children. Treva Dawn was born in 
   1968 and was baptized and confirmed at St. John's. She was active in youth
   group and was an ongoing Ambassadores for Christ. In 1989, she married
   Darrell Ptaschek at Hays, Kansas. They live in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she
   attends Trinity Lutheran.
     Wilfred Jason was born in 1970 and was baptized and confirmed at St. John's.
   He was also active in youth group and was also an ongoing Ambassadors for
   Christ. He lives at Zenda.
