Edward Brehm born March 31, 1886 and died February 26, 1943. His parents
  were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brehm. He married Elsie Staatz December 7, 1910. She
  was born October 30, 1889 and died April 6, 1983. Elsie's parents were Fred
  and Otelia Staatz.
       After marriage they farmed the Henry brehm farm south of the Walnut Grove
  School west of Woodbine.
       In the spring of 1931 they moved to Woodbine; they had traded the farm to
  Ray Garrett for the house south of the Woodbine school where Paul Martinitz now
  lives and also the hardware, creamery, harness and shoe shop right south of 
  the Shank and Hiebert Store.
       They had two daughters, Gladys, Mrs. James Riffel and Doris, Mrs. Rhiney 
  Riffel. Both are graduates of Woodbine High School.
