Carrol and Norma Jean Drinen
Carrol Drinen and Norma Jean Langhofer Drinen graduated with the class of
1946. We spent the first 20 years of our marriage on the family farm west of
Woodbine, where we raised our four daughters, Janet, Connie, Patsy and Cindy.
In the spring of 1966, we quit farming and moved to Abilene where Carrol and
I were both employed. Carrol later graduated from KTI with an associate degree
in in General Engineering Technology. I continued my education also and am
presently employed as an R.N. Janet became an R.N. and married Ken Sherraden.
They presently lived in Anthony with their four children. Connie Byreans is an
LPN and resides in Wichita with her husband Ed, and two sons. Patsy Danziger
has one son; she is currently living in Ablene. Cindy became a nurse clinician.
She and her husband Mark have one daughter; they reside in Mulvane. Carrol and
I enjoy being grandparents and are blessed with frequent visits from our children
and grandchildren.
