Roselyn Volkman and Adair H. Farres of Woodbine were married August 23, 1945
  in Abilene, Kansas. Adair and Rose built a home south of Woodbine where Pamela
  J., Hubert M., Daniel A., Jeffrey A., and Timothy W. were born.
       Adair and his brother, Lillis (Slim), operated a service station in
  Woodbine. Adair also worked with several different construction companies 
  operating heavy equipment. In March of 1966 Adair was killed in a construction 
  accident.
       After the death of Adair, Rose worked for Civil Service at Ft. Riley,
  Kansas; Colorado Springs, Colorado and Denver, Colorado. Rose returned to
  Woodbine in 1982 and works as Chief of Finance Services at Ft. Riley.
       Rose and Adair have the following grandchildren: Casey, Cory and Cody
  Riedy, sons of Pamela Carver of Woodbine; Christina A. and Montgomery T., 
  children of Hubert Farres of Derby, Kansas; Jason and Jamie, children of
  Danny Farres of Bridgeport, Kansas; Natalie Ann Farres, daughter of Jeffrey
  Fares of Francetown, New Jersey. Timothy Farres and wife also reside in
  Francetown, New Jersey.
